  5.         List of bug fixes, changes:
  6.         ───────────────────────────

  8.         ■ Fixed the bug that didn't create file listings when using
  9.           the normal line format.
  10.  
  11.         ■ User statistics did not work when using SuperBBS
  12.  
  13.         ■ Fixed the ugly bug that doubled single words or the entire
  14.           description in allfiles listing.
  15.  
  16.         ■ Fixed a bug that FrontDoor style logfiles always were
  17.           shortended completly.
  18.  
  19.         ■ Fixed a bug when deleting the last line in FILES.BBS
  20.  
  21.         ■ Fixed a bug that didn't recognize the baudrate in RA logfiles.
  22.  
  23.         ■ Fixed a bug when reading the EFT downloader log that occured
  24.           when the downloader log had a different format than the
  25.           uploader logfile.
  26.  
  27.         ■ Changed the logic of adding archeader to .ARJ files
  28.  
  29.         ■ Changed the logic of where to swap memory for ArcScan when
  30.           no swap path given and no environment variable TMP set.
  31.           In this case SYSOP now swaps to the directory to which the
  32.           BBS environment variable points.
  33.  
  34.         ■ Total no. of calls is now read from SYSINFO.BBS instead
  35.           of sum of calls from every user.
  36.  
  37.         ■ File areas without files aren't shown in the file extension
  38.           statistic anymore.
  39.  
  40.         ■ Fixed a bug when using LHa as Arcer that the AllFiles
  41.           listings wouldn't arced.
  42.  
  43.         ■ Fixed the swapping problem. Swapping to EMS/XMS does now
  44.           run correct.

  46.         ■ Files won't be touched with the actual date/time during
  47.           ArcScan conversion anymore. Fixed some other bugs in
  48.           ArcScan.

  50.         ■ Fixed the Kill-Files Bug when converting files during ArcScan
  51.           and 'Convert files with AV-Check' was set to YES. At this
  52.           moment all files that already have destination format were
  53.           deleted.

  55.         ■ When the FILE_ID.DIZ contained graphic chars SYSOP deleted
  56.           all spaces in the description.
  57.  
  58.         ■ The EFT Uploader/Downloader logfile wouldn't be read if
  59.           you used FrontDoor or SBBS style.

  69.         ■ Added switch to add file listings to the archive instead of
  70.           always moving the listing into the archive so that the ascii
  71.           listing still remains.

  73.         ■ Added switches to not create empty UploadCheck & FileScan
  74.           reports.

  76.         ■ The statistic data of deleted users are now stored before
  77.           deleting so that your stats always reflect the right values.

  79.         ■ Now you're able to update the actual filearea in the file
  80.           database every time you save the FILES.BBS automatically.

  82.         ■ Added a function to hide special entries in the statistics.

  84.         ■ SYSOP now shows the commandline when you run it with parameters.

  86.         ■ Improved the hurl-technique. Now it's possible to do a fast
  87.           hurl in the following way:

  89.           Tag files with ALT-T, mark them for moving into another file
  90.           area with ALT-M. The tagged files will be moved into this
  91.           directory later. Now tag some other files and move with ALT-M.
  92.           This does not really move files but mark them for movement!
  93.  
  94.           At the end you press CTRL-M and all files you've marked before
  95.           are moved into the aprociate directorys. The descriptions are
  96.           added at the end of the FILES.BBS and the FILES.BBS of the
  97.           actual file area will be saved.
  98.  
  99.           Optionally also the file database will be updated. If you
  100.           haven't set the flag 'Update file database when editing
  101.           FILES.BBS' you have to do a UploadCheck in all file areas
  102.           you have moved files into!
  103.  
  104.         ■ Added support to not convert new files for some days in a
  105.           filearea so that files from FileNets are not converted until
  106.           your downlinks had polled them.
  107.  
  108.         ■ You now may setup a different Arcer for every filearea.
  109.  
  110.         ■ Added EGA 43 line support. Added support for Zoo.
  111.  
  112.         ■ A new switch disables that FileScan adds new files to the
  113.           database. Useful for areas in which you perform a UploadCheck,
  114.           so it does'nt matter if you perform UploadCheck before
  115.           FileScan or afterwards.
  116.  
  117.         ■ Added a switch for quick FileScan. A quick FileScan doesn't
  118.           update the size/date/time of a file in the database. This
  119.           speeds up the FileScan by 70% ;-)
  120.           So the FileScan only verifys the existance of a file.
  121.  
  122.         ■ Added a switch for quick UploadCheck. A quick UploadCheck
  123.           only adds new files to the database and doesn't updates the
  124.           description of known files. This is 70% faster ;-)
  125.  
  126.         ■ Added a ARCHIV function that enables you to move old files
  127.           into a archive directory so that you may backup these files
  128.           before you delete them. This function also creates a infofile
  129.           with all file descriptions of the archieved files. The format
  130.           of the infofile is YYMMDD.INF, this file will be overwritten
  131.           when archive function is called again on this day.
  132.  
  133.           - Archive path: Directory that old files are moved into
  134.           - Incl. drives: SYSOP checks this drives for free diskspace
  135.           - Min MB free : SYSOP moves files into the archive directory
  136.                           until this amount of free space is reached.
  137.                           This also works if no space is really freed up.
  138.                           e.g. because the archive directory is included
  139.                           int the 'Incl. Drives'.
  140.           - No day past : Only files older then this days are archieved.
  141.           - Max. d/l's  : Only files with less downloads are archieved.
  142.                           Specify 0 to disable function.
  143.  
  144.         ■ It's also possible to not activate the ScreenSaver, but instead
  145.           quit SYSOP. This is for those of you who call SYSOP manually
  146.           from the BBS/Mailer and forget to quit. You may also define the
  147.           delay of inactivity until those function will be activated.
  148.  
  149.         ■ Added a feature to add GIF resolutions to all adopted GIF's
  150.           during FileScan and its also possible to add the resolution
  151.           to all GIF's that don't have a file description.

  153.           Its also possible to design the outfit of the GIF resoultion
  154.           with following macros:
  155.           %W - Width 
  156.           %H - Height
  157.           %C - Number of colors
  158.  
  159.         ■ When you import file areas from your BBS setup only the path
  160.           of existing file areas is written to the SYSOP file area
  161.           database. Therefore there will be no asterix anymore.
  162.           The area description and area number will NOT be updated
  163.           so your order in SYSOP keeps the same.
  164.  
  165.         ■ Added support for FILE_ID.DIZ and DESC.SDI file description
  166.           files.
  167.  
  168.         ■ Optionally you mal also search for the FILE_ID.DIZ and
  169.           DESC.SDI when performing ArcScan.
  170.  
  171.         ■ Added a new feature that allows you update your D/L counter
  172.           with external Tools/FileDoor. When you set 'Read D/L counter
  173.           from FILES.BBS during UploadCheck' you automatically perform
  174.           a full UploadCheck and the D/L counter in the database will
  175.           be updated from FILES.BBS. In this case Logfile-Read only
  176.           updates the Baudrate statistics and doesn't read downloads
  177.           anymore!

  179.         ■ SYSOP is aware of DesqView, MS Windows, OS/2 2.0.
  180.           If any of these multitaskes is detected SYSOP gives up
  181.           timeslice when in idle state.

  184.         ■ New features in FILES.BBS Editor:

  187.           F10     Search for textstring and optional tag them. In the
  188.                   setup/switches menu you may setup the following:
  189.                   - Should found files always be tagged automatically
  190.                   - Do you want to search until end of FILES.BBS and
  191.                     tag all found files
  192.                   - Do you want to continue search or always start
  193.                     at the beginning of FILES.BBS
  194.  
  195.           ALT-C   Convert actual hilited file to global ArcFormat or
  196.                   to ArcFormat of the actual file area (if defined).
  197.  
  198.           ALT-G   Add Gif Resolution to file description of the actual
  199.                   hilited file.
  200.  
  201.           ALT-I   Searches for FILE_ID.DIZ in all tagged files and
  202.                   removes the file description with those found in the
  203.                   FILE_ID.DIZ file.
  204.  
  205.           ALT-L   Add Zero-Downloadcounter to file description of
  206.                   the actual hilited file
  207.  
  208.           ALT-O   Enables you to tag all files that are older than
  209.                   x days.
  210.  
  211.           CTRL-C  Convert all tagged files to global ArcFormat or
  212.                   to ArcFormat of the actual file area (if defined).

  214.           CTRL-G  Add Gif Resolution to file description of all tagged
  215.                   files.

  217.           CTRL-R  Remove description of the actual hilited file and
  218.                   start with a zero download counter.
